Frequently asked questions
How do I set an alarm?
Choose the hour and minute, pick AM or PM and press Set Alarm. It rings at that time with a sound and a notification.
Will the alarm ring if I switch tabs?
Yes, as long as this browser tab stays open. It keeps the countdown running and rings at the set time, even in the background on a computer. On iPhone/iPad keep the screen on.
Can I snooze the alarm?
Yes — when it rings, press Snooze to silence it and have it ring again after the snooze time (9 minutes by default, which you can change).
Can I set more than one alarm?
Yes — set as many alarms as you like on this one page. Each appears in the list with its own countdown and rings on its own; your alarms are remembered if you reload.
Can I adjust the volume or use it as a bedside clock?
Yes — use the volume slider under Alarm options, and the Blackout button for a dark full-screen bedside display that keeps the screen awake.
Does it need an app or sign-up?
No — it is a free online alarm clock that runs in your browser. Nothing to install and no account needed.
What sound does the alarm make?
You can choose Bell, Beep, Chime, Digital, Buzzer or Siren, and turn repeat on or off, under Alarm options.
Will the alarm work if I close the tab?
No — keep this browser tab open for the alarm to ring. It does not need to be the active tab, so you can work in other tabs, but closing it cancels the alarm.
Will it ring if my computer goes to sleep?
No. If your computer sleeps, shuts down, or the lid is closed, the alarm cannot ring. Keep the device awake and the screen on (especially on phones) to be sure it sounds.
