About signing PDFs
This tool lets you sign a PDF by drawing your signature and placing it anywhere on the page. You can pick the page, position the signature by dragging and resize it, then download the signed document. It all happens in your browser, so your PDF and signature are never uploaded.
How Sign PDF works
How to use it
- Drop or choose a PDF.
- Draw your signature in the box and click Place on page.
- Drag it into position, resize it, navigate to the right page, then Sign & download.
How it works
Your drawn signature is captured as a transparent image. The page is shown at a known scale, so when you position the signature the tool maps its location and size to the PDF's own coordinate system and stamps the image onto that page. The result is saved as a normal PDF.
Good to know
This adds a visible, drawn signature — ideal for forms, letters and approvals. It is not a cryptographic digital signature, so for legally certified e-signatures use a dedicated certificate-based service. Your data never leaves your device here.
