About cropping PDFs
This tool crops the pages of a PDF — trim white margins or cut down to a region — and applies the same crop to every page. You set how much to remove from each edge and preview the kept area, then download the cropped PDF. It runs in your browser, so your file is never uploaded.
How Crop PDF works
How to use it
- Drop or choose a PDF.
- Drag the top, bottom, left and right sliders to set the margins to trim.
- Check the preview, then crop and download.
How it works
Each PDF page has a media box that defines its visible area. This tool reduces that box by the margins you choose, so the printed and on-screen page shows only the region you kept. Because it adjusts the page box rather than re-rendering, text and graphics stay sharp and selectable.
Tips
Cropping is applied uniformly to all pages, which is ideal for documents with consistent margins (like scanned books or slides). The preview is based on the first page, so use pages with similar layout for the best result.
