About the Exponent (Power) Calculator
Exponent (Power) Calculator does the math for you. Enter your values in the format shown and the result appears immediately — no spreadsheets, no formulas to remember, and nothing is uploaded to a server.
How Exponent works
An exponent (power) means multiplying the base by itself a set number of times:
result = base ^ exponent
Worked example — 2 to the power of 10:
- Multiply 2 by itself 10 times: 2×2×2×2×2×2×2×2×2×2
- Result: 1024
A negative exponent gives a fraction (2^-2 = 0.25) and any number to the power 0 equals 1.
